ROKIOTOEX Limited Lifetime Warranty
At ROKIOTOEX, we engineer our products to handle whatever the road throws at them. To give you complete peace of mind, we stand behind the quality of our gear with a warranty designed to keep you moving.
What is Covered
This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to the original retail purchaser and covers all factory defects in materials and workmanship across our Coyote, Cheetah, Cougar, and Cobra roof rack crossbar systems.
If a structural or manufacturing failure occurs under normal use due to a defect in how the product was made, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective component or system at no charge.
What is Not Covered
To keep our warranty fair and aligned with standard outdoor industry practices, coverage does not extend to damage caused by conditions outside of our manufacturing control. Exclusions include:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Surface-level cosmetic rust, scratches, and paint fading or peeling caused by UV exposure, road salt, debris, or normal environmental aging.
- Improper Installation: Damage or failure resulting from failing to follow the vehicle-specific installation guides, improper placement, or over/under-tightening of mounting hardware.
- Overloading: Structural failure or vehicle damage caused by exceeding the stated dynamic or static load capacity of the crossbars, or exceeding the vehicle manufacturer’s maximum roof load rating.
- Misuse or Abuse: Damage resulting from extreme off-road driving, unauthorized modifications to the crossbars, accidents, automatic car washes, or using the racks for purposes other than intended.
- Secondary Damage: We are not liable for damage to the vehicle, cargo, or any other property resulting from a rack failure.
Warranty Limitations
This warranty is strictly non-transferable and terminates if the equipment is sold or transferred to a new owner. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the ROKIOTOEX product itself.
How to Make a Claim
We make resolving issues straightforward. To initiate a warranty evaluation:
- Prepare your documentation: Locate your original order number and proof of purchase (whether purchased via Amazon, eBay, or directly).
- Document the issue: Take clear, high-resolution photos showing the specific defect, as well as wide photos showing how the system is currently mounted to your vehicle.
- Contact Support: Reach out to our customer service team with your documentation. Our Calgary-based support staff will evaluate the claim and, if approved, promptly dispatch replacement brackets, hardware, or complete crossbars to get you back on the road.
Addendum: ROKIOTOEX Customer Care & Part Replacement Program
We understand that prolonged exposure to the elements, harsh winter road salt, or unforeseen accidents can cause damage to your roof rack equipment that falls outside the scope of our standard warranty. If you experience component damage due to normal wear and tear (such as cosmetic rust or paint peeling) or accidental damage, we will not leave you stranded.
ROKIOTOEX offers our existing customers an exclusive 50% discount on replacement parts to swap out the damaged components.
